You'll receive an email confirming receipt of your requested change. Before it ships, your colourist will review your comment and apply any changes.

To minimise the risk of an allergic reaction, we strongly recommend following these precautions. Instructions on how to perform a skin allergy test are included in the Product Safety & Usage insert in your Kit. We've also included the instructions below.

ALLERGY TEST:

1. Clean an area the size of a quarter in the bend of your elbow with soap and water. Pat dry.
2. Using a plastic utensil (not a metal utensil), mix a few drops of the hair colour developer with a few drops of hair colour in a plastic or glass container.
3. Tightly (and immediately) put the cap back on the hair colour and hair colour developer bottles.
4. Apply the mixture to the test area with a cotton bud or cotton wool ball.
5. Let the test spot dry. Do not wash, cover, or disturb the area for 48 hours.
6. Examine the test area periodically over the next 48 hours.
7. If you experience any reaction in or around the test area, such as redness, burning, swelling, or irritation, do not colour your hair until you consult a doctor. You may also contact us within 30 days for a refund.

To adjust the delivery frequency of your hair colour, simply log in to your account and select “Upcoming Order.” Then click the arrow to see “Colour Frequency” and use the + or - icons to adjust to your desired frequency before clicking “Done.”

NOTE: Your frequency and processing date operate separately, so changing the frequency of your Plan will not automatically update the processing date of your next order. Your new frequency will take effect after your next hair colour order.

Inside each hair colour order are two pairs of large-sized, non-latex gloves. To get a few more uses out of your gloves, we recommend washing them with soap and water.

To adjust the schedule for your Plan simply log in to your account and click here, then select the date you would like your order to bill and begin processing.

NOTE: Your frequency and processing date operate separately, so changing the frequency of your Plan will not automatically update the processing date of your next order. Your new frequency will take effect after your next hair colour order. 

To restart your autoship Colour Plan or order a single shipment of your colour, log in to your account and select “Order My Colour.”

To skip your next order simply log in to your account and select “Upcoming Order.” Then click the arrow to see “Skip Order,” and confirm. You’re good to go!

To preview your hair colour results, we suggest you perform a strand test. Instructions on how to perform a strand test are included in the Product Safety & Usage insert. We've also included them here for your convenience.

STRAND TEST INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Put on protective gloves.
2. Choose a strand of hair to test. It's best to choose a strand that will not be clearly visible with your typical hairstyle.
3. Separate the rest of your hair using plastic clips so that the strand does not touch the rest of the hair after the hair colour is applied.
4. Apply hair colour to your chosen strand by following the process outlined in your instructions. Using a plastic utensil and bowl (not metal), mix 1 teaspoon of hair colour and 1.5 teaspoons of developer for the strand test. Tightly (and immediately) put the cap back on the hair colour and hair colour developer bottles.
5. Wait 24 hours to make sure you are happy with the hair colour results.
6. If you are happy with the colour, proceed to the full application as outlined in your instructions. This should be done no more than 48 hours after the strand test is complete.

If you would like to turn off your Plan, simply log in to your account and select your upcoming order. Click “Turn Off My Plan,” and follow the prompts.
